The Astronot Receives Jury Award at the Mexico International Film Festival

JUN 3, 2019

The Astronot Movie by Far From Earth Films director Tim Cash & screenwriter Pennan Brae received the Jury Award for Best Feature Film at the Mexico International Film Festival.  The Astronot unfolds during the 1960s when President Kennedy challenged the nation to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade.  From his humble abode in Central Oregon, Daniel watched every mission of Project Mercury, Gemini & Apollo.  He longed to be an astronaut.  Yet Daniel was very much a recluse & rarely left his own county, let alone the planet.  Still he watched every mission & followed passionately.  He finally had someone to share his interests with when he met Sandy who had just moved from Florida.  She turned his world upside-down.  Things were looking up for The Astronot.
